WWF has a huge mission – to create a world where people and wildlife can thrive together.
To do this, we need to be effective – attracting the best people to work for us, deploying the strongest arguments and most powerful campaigns, signing up the broadest and most committed group of supporters to support us in everything we do.
One way we do that is by valuing the diversity of our staff and membership every bit as much as we value biodiversity!
This t-shirt is made from recycled plastic bottles. 100% locally sourced, designed and manufactured.
Our supplier uses recycled plastic converted into yarn which in turn is knitted and dyed locally, collected from in and around the Western Cape to make t-shirts. Unbelievably soft, these shirts ensure a more sustainable future.
With an eco-conscious approach as core we have chosen to partner with our local converter. We believe in having as minimal of an impact on our environment as possible.
Our recycled t-shirts comprise of 70% PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) and 30% cotton. PET is used as a raw material for making packaging materials such as bottles and containers for packaging a wide range of food products and other consumer goods. Examples include soft drink, alcoholic beverages, detergents, cosmetics, pharmaceutical products and edible oils. PET is one of the most common consumer plastics used.
It’s safe to say that our T-Shirts are 100% Proudly Made in South Africa
